Teaching American History Partnerships

The Teaching American History (TAH) grant program offered by the US Department of Education was designed to raise student achievement by improving teachers' knowledge and understanding of and appreciation for traditional U.S. history.  Local education agencies applied for the grants in partnership with universities, non-profit history or humanities organizations, libraries, or museums.  FHC has been a partner on many successful Teaching American History grants awarded to Florida school districts and has provided contracted programming to many others.
